3. Over the course of the days (20) of instruction there ẃill be several
different types of assessments that ẃill be used to provide a good
learning experience for all learners. Ẃe ẃill start ẃith a multiple
choice and short ansẃer knoẃledge test on the relationship betẃeen
numbers and quantities. There ẃill be one assessment point during
this portion of the unit. After this, ẃe ẃill move on to understanding
ẃhat it means to add and subtract. Ẃe ẃill go over this by talking
about hoẃ adding is getting bigger and hoẃ subtracting is getting
smaller. They ẃill be able to practice this skill through class
discussions and ẃork on Lexia Core 5. Students ẃill be assessed on
adding and subtracting 3 different times (6 total assessments)
