A supply chain is the flow of physical goods (or SLF) between the supplier
(sender/consignors) and receiver/consignees. Supply chain management is a management
of every activity between the supplier and customer in such a way that its efficient and
effective. Het bepalen van standard times is een verantwoordelijkheid van de organisatie
voor internal en external stakeholders (aandeelhouders).
They will achieve (bereiken) this:
Standard times are determined for loading, transit, receiving (standaardtijden
worden bepaald voor laden, doorvoer en ontvangst)
Continuously measure the performance (continu meten van de prestaties)
Evaluate actual VS standard times (evalueer actuele VS standaardtijden)
Possible deviations (mogelijke afwijkingen):
Loading: processing speed to high, no transport capacity
Transit: complexity of the route
Receiving: not enough space, slots (parkeerkaart voor een gate), capacity
Carriage (vervoer) of air cargo is possible in the belly of a passenger aircraft, specified cargo
aircrafts or combi aircrafts. There is demand (vraag naar) for air cargo for emergency goods,
Ultra-high value goods, Perishable goods (medical samples (bloed), time sensitive) and
routine (non-perishable goods, brieven etc).
, If you take a look to the indicators of plans VS trucks than you know, aircrafts have high
speeds but also high costs (30c per ATK). Trucks have lower unit costs than a plane (15c per
ATK). Vans (kleine busjes) have higher speed than a truck (75c per ATK).
