NEWS AND REPORTAGE IN THE 20'S
News and reportage are the major source of literature today. Due to the rise of the
Internet, these media had to mutate from traditional television channels to digital media
continuously exposed by the Internet. They are the window to the world for all of us who
want to be informed about what is going on around us.
News is achieved from the report, which is the first source of information. The reporter is
the first to learn the news and is responsible for spreading it. The presenters are the ones
who narrate it, and even give their opinion spontaneously, but nowadays, with the rise of
social networks, the presence of influencers fulfills the dual function of informing and
presenting the news. This is the current trend.
As this is a world in permanent dynamics and constant evolution, the News becomes a
primary focus to see the world, displacing the traditional reading because the novelty is
the first to be known. Modern reading is now based on the information apps found in all
electronic devices worldwide.
Cell phones, which have the widest coverage, followed by computers, tablets, and other
electronic devices, are now the ones who have the world's attention, and in turn the
responsibility for the veracity of the information, which can trigger events that can have
repercussions at both local and state levels.
It should be noted that an impediment to the media is prohibited even by the statutes of
World Entities such as the United Nations. And this is the greatest threat against the
disclosure and knowledge of the truth of the facts. That is why in countries such as
Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, China, and Russia, among others, there are restrictions to
freedom of the press. For this reason, the denunciation will always be important so that
the facts are made known with all the veracity.
We will have to see in the future how the evolution of the aforementioned media goes,
where freedom of expression can be violated by ideologies that presume to be truthful
and to impose the truth, but that can lead to disinformation and therefore to chaos. The
reader ultimately decides what may be convenient for him but also what may affect him,
not only him, but the entire critical mass that obeys patterns that are not always the most
advisable by those in charge. No one has the last word, and there will always be those who
agree or disagree.
