As you can see from my results I managed to maintain high scores through multiple of the subjects
tested, I believe this is because I used to be a member of the Army Cadet Force which I believe has
helped my as it gave me experience and understanding of the importance of discipline. However
there are three subjects that needs improvement, these are; reliability, attendance and uniform
maintenance. Within uniform maintenance I could improve by wearing garments such as a tie and
blazer. Another issue is that once I forgot to wear smart-wear for that day which is something that I
need to improve as when working in the Public Services uniform is extremely important for many
reasons such as; showing respect to the establishment as well as looking presentable to the public
which will in return grant you respect from them. Although it isn’t the worst my attendance needs
some improvement, I have had some issues with being ill as I have Type One Diabetes, this inspires
me to try and have better control over my blood sugar levels and push myself to be present in all of
my lessons where ever possible. Attendance is crucial within the Public Services, if employees failed
to turn up to shifts the efficiency of the public services would decrease and issues such as crime
rates would increase, leading to a more dangerous society. Although my reliability isn’t too low I
could still work to increase my scoring in this area, my score was brought down as I handed my
coursework in late once. To improve this I need to ensure that all of my work is completed in
advance so ensure that this doesn’t happen again. This would help me when I pursue a career in the
Public Services as for example if I was to become a police officer it would not be accepted if I turned
work in late as it could have a negative influence on the whole force and I could be disciplined for
this. Although there are a few negatives I have obtained quite a few good scores. I feel that my
participation in drill was a high score as I was an Army Cadet so I had experience in taking part and
leading drill. Furthermore drill was one of my favourite subjects within Cadets so I was passionate in
doing the best I could. This would help me when I enter into the Public Services as it means that I
would have some basic knowledge on the subject, as drill teaches you self- discipline such as
knowing when not to talk, standing still and listening to orders this would help me in the Police
Force. For example if someone was being abusive towards me then I would be able to ignore it and
