APEA suggestion from Dr. Aman

POST FROM DR. AMERI ABOUT APEA EXAM...THOUGHT I'D SHARE!! Hello all! I wanted to peek in as you're studying for the APEA predictor exam and give some words of advice. Both this board prep exam and the boards themselves focus on Common Ailments, common meds, common treatment plans in primary care....do you see a theme here? I KNOW it's hard to think "Where do I focus?" But remember the goal of the exam is ensure you're prepared to diagnose and treat what occurs most often in primary care...... So think about really frequently occurring diseases such as: -HTN, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Osteoporosis, Eczema, Asthma, Pneumonia, Sinusitis, Pink eye, Otitis Media, UTI, sprains, back pain, headache, depression, anxiety.......etc...
