Introduction
For this report, I will be discovering what a micro business is and also exploring its key features.
Furthermore, I will be conducting a report on 4 types of micro-businesses and then choose one
micro-business and do a full evaluation of that micro-business which includes internal and external
factors.

4 micro business ideas
1. Cake subscription box = During the covid lots of people stopped shopping outside and
started cooking a lot at home from a fresh start. Baking is a very big trend in many online
platforms such as tik tok because it allows you to showcase your talents to others so I
decided to target this trend and make one of my business ideas. The cake subscription box
will be delivered to your doorstep everyone month with every ingredient you need to bake a
cake. In the box, you will find lots of different types of decorations, flavors, and icing so you
have a broad amount of selection. This business idea used serendipity ideas development as
it came up in my mind while I was baking a cake with my mum for my brother’s birthday
party, I generally thought it would be lovely to bake a cake every month with different types
of ingredients and new designs and also at the same you get to spend quality time with your
family. My target audience is 17-30 years old. To make my product more popular and to
increase its sales I can advertise it on social media platforms with the help of influencers and
set challenges with a chance to win lots of prices.
2. Homemade scented bath bubbles = During the pandemic lots
of people had to work from home and had to face intense pressure and many had to face
sleepless nights. I think homemade scented bath bubbles are a great way to reward yourself
and get recovered from stress. Scented bath foams will come in different scents to lighten
your mood up such as roses and vanilla fragrances which will make you feel like you are in
heaven. This idea came from a technical breakthrough as it will use all eco-friendly and
natural fragrances and packaging such as 100% recyclable packaging and organic rose
fragrance. The homemade scented bath bubbles will be sold in local charities and gift shops
and also on the official website. My target audience is mostly people who do lots of work
and wants to relax their mind and who are between the age of 20-35. Scented bath bubbles
will be made with many organic and Fairtrade-friendly ingredients and also to make sure
that the packaging is environmentally friendly.
, 3. Cat day-care = The number of people owning a cat has doubled from the two years this
could be because people might want some accompany during the pandemic or they might
be depressed and to relieve that insolation they brought themselves cats. However, lots of
people nowadays have to travel to work a lot this could be outside of the country but then
they leave their cats at home alone which can make them feel anxious. Cats’ day-care is
there to take care of your beloved cats while you are at work. This idea came up by taking
inspiration from another environment. There are lots of business that only operates for
doggy day-care so I thought it would be a great business idea if there was cat day-care. This
business targets mostly people who own a cat and don’t have time to take care of their care
while they are busy working.
4. Personal health trainer = In this decade the number of people stressing because of work has
increased massively and had paid no attention to their health. A personal health trainer is
there to help you take of your health by planning your meals and exercise routines to ensure
that you stick with them so you stay fit. To communicate with your customer, you can ask
questions on the phone with your personal health trainer or have training sessions together
where you can find what your customer needs to work on more. This idea came from non-
technical breakthrough development. This business idea mostly targets people who struggle
to keep healthy or don’t pay any attention to their health because of their work. This would
be highly beneficial for them because it will give them goals which they can then work on
and can also take the help of their personal trainer if they are struggling.
