These are my complete notes for Hamlet, for OCR English Literature, Drama and Poetry pre-1900. I used these notes and got an A* in my exam in 2022! The most important assessment objectives for these questions are AO1, AO2, and AO5. I have included for each of the main characters (eg. Hamlet, Claudius, the Ghost, Ophelia, etc.) and the main themes (Kingship and power, revenge, women, comedy, tragedy): - Critical quotes - Adaptations - Quotes directly from the play - Analysis of the quotes and critical analysis I have also included advice at the bottom, breaking down the questions and looking into them in more detail! I hope these notes are as helpful to you as they were for me, good luck on your exams!
