The 2 websites I am comparing are Wikipedia and Amazon. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia
project containing articles about different topics and on the other hand Amazon is an E-
commerce website which is an online portal that facilitate online transactions of goods and
services over the internet.
Comparison of two websites depending on the website design
principles of them:
An efficient website design should serve its intended purpose by conveying its unique
message while engaging the user at the same time. While designing a website there are few
key factors to focus on to pursue the purpose of the website. A well-designed website will
build confidence and motivate the users to engage with the website.
Wikipedia principles:
Usability:
The website’s interface is very straightforward and very simple to use. As soon as the user
enters the website, there will be a choice to search for the subject they want so this process
is convenient. There are many articles to read and all of them are free of charge. The
website can be used from any browsers and devices.
