Synopsis
Lego is is a privately established company who’s product line is producing
plastic construction toys. The birth of the company was located in the heart
of Billund, Denmark. In addition, the lego group company has a total of 800
physical stores. Furthermore, the numebr of employees is at around
17,4311. Lego pieces can be assembled and disassemlbed to create a
creative and joyful experince for children and adults. The word Lego,
derived from the word leg godt which in english translates to “play well”2. Lego was founded by a hard
working carpenter named Ole Kirk Kristiansen, in the year 1932.
Furthermore, throughout the development of the Lego company it suffered numerous fires which, caused
massive amount of damage despite, this Lego Ole and his son Godfrey kept rebuilding Lego bigger and
better than before3.

Workforce Planning
Workforce planning enusres that people with the best skills are at the correct time and where they need to
be to meet the organization current and future needs4. It primarily, is a form of preparation which is an
never ending balancing act. It ensure, that companys’ must balance the demand for labour with the
available supply of labour5. Furthermore, it predicts and informs the businesses’ impact on workforce on
behalf of the external and internal factors.
