Music Improves Brain Health and Brain Function
Indeed listening to music makes one happier, healthier, and more productive in the sense that it
triggers focus, hard work, and determination.
Listening to music increases dopamine production. That is, upon completion of
particular work or achieved the goal, the human body tends to release dopamine. Listening to
music enhances the production of dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins hormones; thus, one
becomes happier, motivated, and confident. Additionally, shuffle music boosts dopamine efflux.
Concurrently, music releases stress and anxiety. This is because music lessens the release
of cortisol and increases access of the body to enough oxygen; thus, enough blood flow to the
brain, which reduces mind destructions. Notably, in low cortisol level condition, one feels more
hopeful and relaxed. Condignly, music controls pain as it converts how one perceives physical
stimuli while encountering a tricky situation. Also, it reduces the intensity of discomfort while in
injuries.
