This examination paper consists of FOUR (4) compulsory questions and is marked out
of 100.
This is a closed-book examination.
• Answer all the questions.
• Answer the questions in English.
• Write down the question number for each answer, for example, Question 1.1.1.
• Type your answers or write neatly and legibly using an ink pen.
• If you add illustrations, they must be done in pen.
• Scan all the pages in the correct order and upload them as one PDF document onto the
myUnisa platform.
• Save your PDF document as follows: module code, Exam and your student number (for
example, FLT3701 Exam ……… Do not include your name.
• Please ensure that you do not upload a read-only file since the online marking application
cannot mark read-only documents.
• Ensure that you upload your answer script within the prescribed time.
• To upload your PDF document, access the myUnisa landing page and click on Exams
Login and Download my Exam Question Paper. Log in with your student number and
myUnisa password.
• Find the module code, FLT3701, and click on the link to submit your answer script.
• FLT3701 is closed-book exam. Read the important information on page 3.

INVIGILATOR APP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Please log in to The Invigilator app. You need to be
connected to the internet to log in and scan the QR
CODE.
2. Scan the QR code above once the examination has
officially started. If you encounter difficulty with scanning
the QR code, you can also enter the QR access code at
the bottom of the QR code to start the assessment.
3. Once you have scanned the QR code, put your
smartphone next to you. The Invigilator App will notify you
when an action is required. Ensure that your media
volume is turned up.
4. You may access MyExams in the application if you have only one device by clicking the
Access LMS button.
5. Keep your smartphone on charge for the duration of the assessment.
6. Keep The Invigilator app open on your smartphone during the assessment. You are not
allowed to leave or minimise the application.
7. When an action is required, a notification beep will be heard. Action the request.
8. Ensure that you are connected to the internet at the start as well as the end of the
examination. No internet connection is needed during the assessment.
9. First upload your script to MyExams. Because the uploading of app data is not time
sensitive, you can do it after you have uploaded your script to MyExams.
10. Please note that you have to adhere to the time limit in your MyExams assessment as the
invigilation time in the app could exceed the time allocated to complete your assessment.
11. Click on the "Finish Assessment" button in the app if you finish early.
12. Should you encounter any technical difficulty, WhatsApp the Invigilator Helpdesk on 073 505
8273.
13. Students who have not utilised the invigilation or proctoring tools will be subjected to a
disciplinary process.
14. Students suspected of dishonest conduct during the examinations will be subjected to a
disciplinary process.
15. UNISA has zero tolerance for plagiarism or any other form of academic dishonesty.
16. Students have one hour after the official examination time has expired to submit their
answer scripts. Submissions made after that will be rejected in terms of the examination
regulations and will not be marked.
17. Students experiencing network or load shedding challenges are advised to apply, with
supporting evidence, for an aegrotat within three (3) days of the examination session.
18. Students experiencing technical challenges must either contact the SCSC at 080 000 1870,
e-mail or refer to the URL link for a list of additional contact
numbers or e-mail their module lecturer. Only communication from your myLife account will
be considered.
