I have compiled a table from summary of the health conditions you need to know for your matric final consumers exam. The summary includes a brief description of the condition, causes, symptoms and treatments. I compiled the summary with help from The Answer Series grade 12 consumer studies textbook and the summary includes: hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, high blood cholesterol, hypertension, anemia, osteoporosis and HIV/AIDS.

Part 1. This pack goes into detail on nutritional, food related health conditions or conditions requiring food management (HIV/AIDS; Anaemia; Osteoporosis; rickets; malnutrition, etc.) as well as types of environments & resources (macro/micro and human/non-human) and food-related consumer issues (GM Foods; organically grown foods; feeding schemes and food security, etc.)
