Introduction
In this analysis, the main purpose is to test the claim made by a salesperson from the Regional
Real Estate Company that a newly designed advertisement would result in a higher average cost
per square foot in the Pacific region. A hypothesis test will be conducted using a sample of 750
houses from the Pacific region to verify this claim. The random sample of 750 houses was
generated using Excel's RAND () function. This function allows for the generation of random
numbers within a specified range that were sorted in ascending order. A sample of 750 was then
selected from the sorted list. Therefore, the obtained sample ensures that each house in the
dataset had an equal chance of being selected for the sample.
