Step 1: Estimate your ecological footprint

 Use an ecological footprint calculator to estimate your own environmental impact.
 Recommended tool: Global Footprint Network Calculator
 If this tool is unavailable, any reliable online ecological footprint calculator may be
used.

Step 2: Reflect and comment

 Write a discussion comment of 4–5 paragraphs in response to the following:
o Part A: Reflect on your footprint result in relation to the “Sustainability?”
section. Describe your feelings and insights.
o Part B: Critically reflect on your previous response in Assignment 06
regarding the Eastern Gorilla. Has your understanding of your role in
sustainability changed?
o Part C: Discuss any adjustments to your personal values, behaviours, or
sense of arête in light of your ecological footprint. Offer examples of
practical steps to reduce your footprint.
