Relevance: At the Grade 3 level, learners are developing social skills and learning
to interact with peers. Emotional intelligence is crucial at this stage as it helps
learners understand and manage their emotions, leading to better relationships
and academic performance (Goleman, 1995, p. 12).

Learning Objectives:

1. Learners can identify and label different emotions (happy, sad, angry).

2. Learners can recognize emotional cues in themselves and others.
