Is = he ; she ; it (singular)
are = you ; we ; they (plural)

Does - singular
Do- plural

Timewords
Always ; usually ; seldom ; never ; hardly ever
-> Tame animals are followers
-> Marry picks on people

Negatives
-> Tame animals are not followers
-> Marry does not pick an apple

Questions
->Are tame animals followers ?
-> Does Marry pick an apple ?

Tag questions
Is not = isn’t ; are not = aren’t
Do not = don’t ;does not = doesn’t

Make sure helping verb/auxiliry verbs (is /are ) agree with moved
object

P - A stick is thrown by Mary




Past indefnite tense ( simple past tense )
Use this tense to talk about actions that happend in the past

*-> second column verb
-> They went to town

Was = he ; she ; it ; I ( singular)
Were = You ; we ; they (plural)

Timewords
Yesterday ; last week ; last month ; a while ago
-> They threw a stick
-> They were upset

WITH THE WORD “DID” IT IS “1st column verb”

Negative
-> I did not throw a stick
-> They were not upset

Questions
-> Did I throw a stick?
-> Were they upset?
