ASSIGNMENT 2 SEMESTER 1 2025
UNIQUE NO. 688652
DUE DATE: 19 MAY 2025
, INC3701 – Assignment 02 (2025)
Question 1
1.1
Inclusive education means ensuring that every learner, regardless of ability or
background, has an equal opportunity to participate and succeed in the same learning
environment. In my classroom, this approach has created a sense of belonging for all
learners. For instance, I once supported a learner with a hearing challenge by using
clear speech, visual aids, and peer collaboration. Over time, the learner became more
engaged and confident.
Inclusive strategies—like using visuals, group activities, and storytelling—not only help
learners with specific needs but also enhance learning for everyone. This approach
promotes mutual respect, cooperation, and values such as empathy and teamwork.
1.2
White Paper 6 guides teachers to identify and support learners facing learning barriers. I
apply this by closely observing learners and noting any consistent struggles. For
example, if a child avoids reading aloud, I explore the cause—whether it’s a reading
issue or emotional discomfort.
To provide support, I involve parents to understand the learner's challenges at home
and collaborate with the school-based support team. When necessary, I refer the case
to district-level support services. This collaborative approach ensures early intervention
and tailored support for each learner.
