RE: Research Proposal: A quantitative study of the impact of movie content on the behaviour
of adolescent children.
I am currently associated with the University of South Africa where I am an honours student
at the department of Psychology. I have an interest in how movie content will influence our
youth and to what extent do they internalise the behaviour they see on the big or small screen.
I did a small research proposal in my Sociology final year at the North-West University,
Potchefstroom on a similar topic and found it to be very interesting to me. I attach a proposal
for further research in this field.
The reason for approaching you is to submit this proposal for assessment by a peer group.
The project I would like to propose to you is required for one of my courses namely research
methodology. It, therefore, seems appropriate to first submit my proposal to my peers to get
their views on the proposal and my ability to write a scientific report.
