Question 1: SWOT Analysis of Zenith Manufacturing Ltd
Strengths:
1. Strong executive support – The top leadership at Zenith is clearly committed to
improving HRD, which shows through their investments in training systems and
leadership programmes.
2. Structured HRD strategies – They have a well-developed framework for
training and development, which includes mandatory training hours and clear
guidelines for participation.
3. Advanced learning systems – Zenith introduced a Learning Management
System (LMS) and personal learning portals that make it easier to monitor
progress and support self-learning.
Weaknesses:
1. Resistance to change – Some managers were not fully on board with the new
learning culture, which slows down progress.
2. Limited internal HRD skills – The company still depends a lot on external
consultants because their own staff lacks expertise in certain HRD areas.
3. Balancing training and production – It's hard to maintain productivity while
staff members attend training, especially in a busy manufacturing environment.
