Assume that Disenke and Ditena have been placed at the 4th Floor to put plaster on the walls of the building. It emerged that the structure that they were putting a plaster on was not dry enough to carry or support the weight of two fully-grown humans and as a result it fell on Disenke, causing him several injuries. He was rushed to the doctor who examined him and later issued a medical report which indicated that Disenke would not be able to work anymore as his injuries were severe. His injuries include broken arms, a neck, and a hip. (i) Discuss the necessary safety measures for a person working in elevated environment. (3) (ii) What would be the direct costs which the employer would suffer because of Disenke’s injuries and permanent inability to work. List five.
