CHAPTER 10: KIRCHHOFF’S LAWS
Kirchhoff's rules can be used to analyze any circuit, simple or
complex. Kirchhoff's first rule—the junction rule: The sum of all
currents entering a junction must equal the sum of all currents leaving
the junction.
 First law: the sum of the currents entering any point in a circuit is
equal to the sum of the currents leaving that same point.

 Second law: the sum of the e.m.f (electromotive force) around
any loop in a circuit is equal to the sum of the p.d.s (potential
difference) around the loop.
