1. Kinetic Energy:
Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object due to its motion. The
amount of kinetic energy depends on the mass and velocity of the object.

o Example: A car driving on the highway has kinetic energy due to its
movement.

2. Potential Energy:
Potential energy is stored energy based on an object’s position or state. It has
the potential to be converted into kinetic energy.

o Example: Water stored behind a dam has gravitational potential
energy due to its elevated position.

3. Thermal Energy:
Thermal energy refers to the internal energy of an object due to the kinetic
