From completing, looking and analysing numerous official IEB past papers (as well as their memos), I have formulated short simple notes that anyone can apply to any English Paper 1. These are my notes on the Visual Literacy section for IEB English Paper 1. This document includes advertising techniques, what to look for in image and wording, tools, style,general figures of speech and common words found in questions. I would highly recommend these notes for those of us who have no idea of how to study for an English Paper 1 or those of us that have never understood what the markers are looking for in our answers to get all the marks.
