Google Web Search
The first web search for The Church of Satan directs you to Wikipedia articles about the Church of
Satan, it provides historical and contextual context, as well as the trials and tribulations that the
group has been subject to since their fame increased many years ago. The next few web pages that
appear when you search up Church of Satan is mostly information from The Satanic Temple, which
has been called many times an opposing group as both religious organisations deny the other and
state that they are the only true Satanic worshipers. The approach taken by the Satanic Temple
appears non-hostile, however there are snide comments denouncing the legitimacy of the Church of
Satan.

The google news report on Satanism in general is very positive. There seems to be a new age
obsession with the Satanism as a religion since the Satanic Temple gained a newly joined member
since 2013. Most media outlets both formal and informal as reported from BBC News and The
Guardian. Most news articles are very non-biased and have an open-minded approach. This to me, is
a very new and a fresh take on the religion since the satanic panic which was associated with
Satanism.

Interview with co-founder of the Satanic Temple, Lucien Greaves with WGBH News. Lucien gives a
new perspective of the religion, however, can be seen as biased as he is speaking on behalf of The
Satanic Temple not The Church of Satan. The YouTube videos aims at challenging the intersection of
church and state and advocating for religious and individual freedom. The video also mentions how
The Satanic Temple is now IRS recognition as an official religion which is a major turning point for
Satanism as a religion.
The Next video to appear is Satanic Art: A Fight for Freedom by Creators (an informal media
organisation) published on Oct 25, 2016 where the topic of the role of Satanic Imagery in modern
society play a large role in freedom of speech regarding Americans 1st amendment right.

searches are different Wikipedia searchers regarding The Peoples Temple in general and The Peoples
Temples in San Francisco. Encyclopaedia Brittan also did a write up about the Peoples Temple as a
