QUESTION 1
1.1 This fact impacts a lawyer in South Africa as they have to rely on a
combination of legislation, case law, and customary law to find a remedy
for a legal question. This means that they have to navigate through various
sources of law and legal principles to find a solution, which can be complex
and time-consuming.
1.2 One country with a codified legal system that I have learned about in
this module is the United States of America.
