Question 1
Write a short paragraph in which you explain, in your own words, why we
sometimes use the word “literatures” in the plural form instead of the word
“literature” in the singular form. (4)
The use of the word "literatures" in the plural form instead of "literature" in the
singular form is based on the idea that there are multiple bodies of literature that can
be studied and analyzed. Different cultures and regions have their own unique
literary traditions and works, which is why we use the plural form to acknowledge the

providing an example of the genre.

Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.
