Inleiding:
Vorige periode is er gewerkt aan beeldherkenning en intekening van anatomische
structuren. In een treatmentplanning zijn niet alleen de anatomische structuren ingetekend,
maar natuurlijk ook het doelgebied. Het doelgebied is opgebouwd uit verschillende
structuren met elk een eigen functie. Om een planning te maken en evalueren (beoordelen
of het plan goed is), is kennis van de uitgangspunten en criteria rondom het doelgebied
vereist. Deze uitgangspunten en criteria staan beschreven in Rapport 62 en 83 van de
International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements (ICRU). Vooral bij
vergelijkingen van technieken en resultaten is het van belang te weten hoe doelvolumes zijn
gedefinieerd. De belangrijkste delen uit dit rapport staan ook in de boeken.
Leerdoelen:
De student kan:
} Uitleggen waar de diverse volumina (GTV,CTV en PTV), die in het ICRU rapport
beschreven worden, voor staan en waarom deze apart worden gedefinieerd.
} Benoemen wat de penumbra is.
} De doelvolumina (GTV,CTV en PTV) op een planning CT herkennen.
} Uitleggen wat systematische en random fouten zijn en daar voorbeelden van geven.
