AIMS AND SKILL:
Explore how land is used in rural areas in terms of using land to provide food for
themselves and their families.
, Learners will be able to know the difference of traditional food from difference
traditions together with their names.
OBJECTIVE:
To transmit traditional knowledge about food and the food chain process from raw
materials from nature to cooked dishes served on the table and also give examples
of good and healthy traditional food.
TEACHING METHODOLOGY:
Inquiry-based learning
Because it will engages learners by making real world connection through
exploration and high-level questioning. E.g ‘Why do rural people use their land for
agricultural purposes.
INTRUCTIONS:
Learnes will be divided into groups of two from different culture
Every learner will be asked to go and find out about their traditional food and create
small summary about how they can survive through traditional food and how are
they prepared.
Learners will names those traditional food using their own languages together with a
picture to show us how it looks. This will allows learners to experience what it’s like
to be a part of a community other than your own.
Each learner will be given 5 minutes to tell us about his/her short summary
