Recruitment vs Selection

Recruitment encourages individuals to seek employment, whereas the purpose of selection is
to identify and employ the best-qualified individuals for specific positions.

RECRUITMENT is the process of acquiring applicants who are available and qualified to fill
positions in the organisation.

SELECTION is the process of choosing from a group of applicants the individual best suited
for a particular position.
