We wish you every success with your studies! 2 PURPOSE AND OUTCOMES 2.1 Purpose The purpose of this module is to equip line managers and/or potential line managers with the skills, knowledge and abilities to manage human resources under their control constructively to contribute to organisational goal achievement and the HR effort as a whole. HRM2605/101/3/2022 5 2.2 Outcomes The module outcomes are those outcomes that must be achieved in order to complete the module successfully and be effective in the workplace. You will have to achieve the following broad outcomes for this module: Specific outcome 1: Demonstrate an understanding of the basic principles of HRM and how they relate to the duties of line managers Specific outcome 2: Demonstrate how line managers can contribute to organisational success through the implementation of different HR functions Specific outcome 3: Apply the legislative framework for managing employees in the workplace 3 CURRICULUM TRANSFORMATION Unisa has implemented a transformation charter based on five pillars and eight dimensions.
