• A mechanical system is a set of physical components that convert input movements and
forces into desired output movements and forces. For example: Car elevator. Mechanical
systems work with these elements, inputs, processes, and outputs.
• A control system is a system that provides the desired response by controlling the output.

1.2 Mechanical system - Plain and hand-hydraulic presses

1.3. Use mechanical systems or hydraulics. This is because it is used to lift heavy objects and
allow mechanics to work under the car without lying on the ground.
1.4 The other is to lift the object and pump and move it to transport the liquid in the form of
oil to the cylinder. To increase the pressure in the cylinder, the valve attached to the
cylinder must be closed when the oil is pumped out of the chamber. In this way, the piston
lifts an object, either a car or a truck.
1.5. It is important to have air in, as it cannot be easily lifted without air. the piston will
descend when the pressure is released. When pumping oil into the chamber to increase
pressure, the cylinder must be closed.
