Assignment 3
, Task 1
1.1.1. Mathematics is a language that uses symbols and notations to describe the relationships
between numbers, geometry, and graphics. It is a human activity that involves the patterns
and quantitative relationships of physical and social phenomena, as well as observations,
expressions, and investigations between the mathematical objects themselves. It helps
develop logical and critical thinking, accuracy, and mental processes that facilitate problem-
solving that contribute to decision-making. Observation-The ability to look at a problem,
understand the requirements needed to find a solution, confidently try to solve a particular
problem encountered, and apply one taught or taught method. Investigation-The ability to
investigate the nature of a problem and find a plausible solution or problem-solving strategy
that fits the problem at hand.
Symbols and notations - +
Numerical symbols - 3–III
Geometrical symbols - II Parralel
Graphical notations - ∩ Hyperbole
Task 2
I have read through the different parts
Task 3
Step 1
1.1 Pascal's triangle is a type of number pattern. The numbers are arranged to reflect each other
as triangles. First place the 1s on top, then start placing the numbers in a triangular pattern.
The number obtained at each step is the sum of the above two numbers. This is similar to
the concept of triangular numbers.
