Definition.
• The result of Phase A is a formalized systems concept
that includes:
i. Clear problem formulation and list of user
requirements.
ii. Rudimentary but well conceptualized systems
solution.
iii. Elemental plan in the project proposal.
iv. Agreement between the customer and the contractor
about all of these.
• The project is now ready to move on to the middle and
later phases of the systems development cycle and
bring the systems concept to fruition.
