1.1 A lesson plan is a teacher’s gaily guide for what learners’ need to
learn, how it will be taught, and how learning will be measured. A
lesson plan helps teachers to be more effective in the classroom by
providing a detailed outline to follow each class period.

, 1.2 Lesson outcomes are written statements that reflect what the learner
will be able to do as a result of participating in the educational
activity. It states what the learners will be able to do upon
completing the learning activity. For example, the learner is able to
give examples of pollutions. Lesson objectives are statements that
define the expected goals of an educational activity. Objectives may
include tasks such as “list”, “discuss” or “state.”
1.3 – Profile: profile includes title of the lesson, subject, grade,
instructional settings and general description.
- Lesson objectives: It is what the teacher wants the learners to
have learned or achieved by the end of a lesson. Determining what
the learners should learn or do. Focusing on the concept or skills to
be taught.
- Material: Are the tools used in educational lessons, which include
active learning and assessment. Basically, any resource a teacher
uses to help him/her to teach his/her learners are an instructional
material. The list of materials for each lesson depends on what the
teacher plan to reach, how they will teach, and how they will
measure lesson objectives. This includes power point presentation,
textbooks, chalkboard, grading rubric, visual aids etc.
- Conclusion and assessment: conclusion is one of the last
components of the lesson plan. It allows learners to analyse and
summarize what they learned in the lesson for the day, assess
their understanding of what they learned and inform the teacher
of whether they met the lessons objective. Some of the most
common assessments include quizzes, writing assignments and
exit slips.
- Lesson reflection: the lesson reflection portion of a lesson plan
encourages teachers to take notes on how to improve a lesson
after it has been completed.
1.4 It is important for teachers to plan for Natural Sciences and
