Analise van gedig
 Titel (title)
 Die titel voorspel (predict) waaroor (about what) die gedig
gaan: ‘n onderwyser (a teacher).
 Die titel is universeel (universal) en kan derhalwe
(therefore) na enige (any) onderwyser verwys (refer to) wat
‘n passie (passion) vir hul vak (subject) het en dit tot die
beste van hul vermoë (ability) aanbied (present) ten spyte
van die leerders se onwilligheid (unwillingness) om die
vak te leer (study). Die tema word ook in die voorafgaande
(aforementioned) sin saamgevat.

 Strofe 1
 Reël 1
Die onderwyser word aangespreek (addressed) as “jy” and “jou” =
hierdie voornaamwoorde (pronouns) dui aan (shows) dat die
leerders nie baie respek het vir die onderwyser nie.

 Reël 2
 Herhaling (repetition) van “by” sonder voegwoorde tussenin
(in between) = asindeton. Dit is ‘n tegniek wat die digter
gebruik waar voegwoorde (conjunctions) weggelaat (left
out) word.
 ‘n Moontlike (possible) verduideliking (explanation) daarvoor
in hierdie konteks kan wees dat die onderwyser by die dinge
staan wat vir hom belangrik (important) is; dus (thus) word

Where are the questions? The analysis should lead to questions.

Good afternoon As stated in the heading and information, this is an in-depth line by line analysis where the focus is solely on grasping the important aspects regarding the poem containing the words or phrases that are from questions posed in past papers. I did not state in my explanation of the analysis that questions are included.

I have found this method works best with my students, maybe you can try it out too: we go through the poem’s in depth line by line analysis and then we work through past papers. Good luck with the rest of your academic endeavors and thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review.

Afrikaans First Additional Language Book Summaries and Exams for Grades 8 - 12

I completed my BA Afrikaans Dutch and Honor degrees, as well as my teaching degree, all Cum Laude. I have 17 years of teaching and tutoring experience and translate the work my students are given, to English for them because this way, it puts them in a better position to obtain the best possible Afrikaans mark they can get. We all know how frustrating it is when that one subject pulls down your entire average: don't let that subject be Afrikaans any longer with my help!
