INTRODUCTION Life has its own challenges, things can turn out to be different than what we expect them to be, it might be good or bad, but end up being surprised about how it ends, the good you do today you definitely get rewarded from it and same applies to when you do bad reward will always be expected. I always follow the rules and regulations of my UNISA Registration Broacher for my BED, I registered this module as one of my compulsory educational theme for my degree, I was not aware that it’s a signature module (online module) I assumed that it was similar to AFL1502 the literature module, I was so surprised to find out that it was beyond expectation and I was so scared because I was actually not computer literate, but now I am singing a different song all thanks to AFL1501. I am even able to type other assignment and submit them online of which I did not do before. Getting started through this module my attention was drawn different languages, gender, cultures and family groups, I discovered unknown different cultural laws, but also became clear. Though we are different from each other especially in a diverse society of South Africa as Arch Bishop Tutu said that we are a rainbow nation, some of our cultural laws are similar, the details of the form of address, celebration of ceremonies, cultural dances and other customs. We have different colour of skin, hair, culture, looks and structure but there is one thing that describe us as one thing which is the same colour of blood same body parts as differs from our gender but that makes us all to be human beings. Through this module I leaned that I am a human being through other human beings, respect is the primary thing for me to earn respect to other people, the way I address them should draw attention of humanity and self-respect, and in fact it should disclose the kind of a person I am. People will only do good to you if you do well to them do not expect respect if you don’t respect others, and never criticize other people’s cultural groups. PERSONAL LANGUAGE STORY What is language?
