Denotative meaning:
The denotative meaning of the words “cancel culture” indicates the withdrawal of
support for public figures or otherwise business or known establishments after they
have done something that is considered to be questionable of objective. The
denotative meaning of the word “weaponised” is to adapt or change objects for uses
as a weapon of war or battle.
Connotative meaning:
The connotative meaning of the words in headline A mean the topic in question is
being put together to fight against or attack people.

Headline B uses inverted commas for the words “cancel culture” is to indicate where
