, 1.1 Life Skills
Are skills that one need to make the most of life, they are needed to
deal well with challenges of life. Life skills are any skills that that are
useful on a person’s life, they are basic skills that one learns every day
of their life. Learning of skills differ by the environment one finds
themselves in like when in school students need study skills which
include reading, writing and understanding work given and being able to
interpret work given.

During my primary learning, there was a learners who was academically
challenged, she found it difficult to read and write, teachers always
passed her and did not give her much attention, every year she passed
not because he was cleaver but because of her age

 Life Skills teachers should equip every learner they teach with
the necessary skills they need to respond to life's challenges in
a functional, independent and possible way
 Teachers should develop creative, expressive and innovative
individuals
 Life skills teachers should guide learners to achieve their full
physical, intellectual, personal, emotional and social potential.


1.2 Positive psychology

focuses on positive things in life, it is about spending time and focusing
on things that makes you happy as an individual and things that bring joy
in your life. Positive psychology is about concentrating on good things,
things that build you as a person and appreciating and being grateful in
whatever situation that one may be facing, it also focuses on human
potential



When I was in primary I use to love playing netball but I was not very
good at it, my teacher once called me aside and told me that she sees
that I am passionate about playing netball but I should concentrate on
debating because I was also a member of the debating committee, she
told me that I have a way with words and I should pay more attention to
