Procurement process
1) Recruitment:

o On Notification Boards, Intranet, transfers, promotions.
• External recruitment (from Outside)
o Through Newspapers, Internet, radio, through school and colleges, universities and other
institutions, online recruitment or walk in recruitment.
2) Selection Steps:
1. Receive CV’s and check.
2. Evaluate CV’s. against prescribed criteria.
3. Compile short list by comparing criteria. 4. Check background and reference.
5. Conduct interviews 6. Undergo tests.
7. Compile preferred rankings and make offers.
8. Sign employment contract upon acceptance.
3) Placement:
o In the post applied for OR where better fit if negotiation was successful for move.
o Placed where their abilities are best suited.
4) Induction:
BASICALLY ORIENTATION
o May include: Tour, Mentor, Code of Ethics
o Benefits: Reduces stress and prevents waste of resources.
o Introduce to how things are done.
o Helps new employees fit in.
