1.2 What did you like most about working on your page? (Write a few sentences below.)
What I loved about working on my page is getting to know the community, doing research and
finding out more that I was not aware of. The strength and compassion the people in the community
have is astounding. I loved reading other people’s interpretations on the same topic, and reading
their comments on my page. The community I have chosen is very close to heart as I have family
members and friends within the community, and showing support to them and other fellow
students within the community meant a lot to me.
1.3 What did you like least about working on your page? (Write a few sentences below.)
The thing that I liked the least about working on my page, was having to look up on the history of the
community and including all the negative things people interpret when they think of this specific
community. I believe that all people should be supported and loved regardless of how they live their
lives, and reading online about people being rejected and disowned simply for being who they are,
completely broke my heart. I also read fellow students’ pages regarding the same topic, and I’ve
noticed how these people in the community go through such hardships for absolutely no reason.
