FINAL PORTFOLIO ASSIGNMENT 3 SEMESTER 2 2026
Introduction
Digital marketing provides small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with
opportunities to reach customers beyond their immediate geographical markets while
building relationships with existing customers. For an SME such as LGS plant-based,
digital channels can be used not only to create awareness but also to educate
consumers, generate leads, facilitate online purchases and develop long-term customer
relationships. This is particularly relevant to LGS plant-based because its products are
based on indigenous fruits and herbs and can therefore be differentiated through their
natural positioning, variety and cultural identity.
The previous assignments addressed the digital marketing plan, website, search engine
optimisation (SEO), online advertising, e-commerce and mobile marketing. This final
portfolio extends those activities by developing an e-mail newsletter, a social-media
campaign, appropriate artificial-intelligence (AI) applications and a system for
measuring digital marketing performance. The recommendations are designed
specifically for LGS plant-based and focus on practical implementation rather than
merely describing digital marketing theory.
The portfolio also recognises that the business already uses several promotional
channels, including its website, social media, market visits, home selling and mass
media. The proposed strategy therefore seeks to strengthen and integrate these
existing activities rather than treating each digital channel as an isolated activity.
