What are Projections? Path or direction of the central ray projecting an image onto the
IR.
What is a PA projection? Projection of the CR from posterior to anterior.
What is a true PA and AP? Without intentional rotation, CR requires to be perpendicular to
the CP and parallel to SP.
What is an AP projection? Projection of the CR from anterior to posterior.
What is an AP Oblique (APO) Projection? CR enters anterior to posterior surface of the body, with the
body part rotated medially or laterally 45 degrees.
