1. Read the article by Akintola (2011) on what motivates people to volunteer.
2. Write down each of the motivations listed by Akintola (2011). Now, decide which one of
all the possible motivations is most important in your case and move that to the top of the
list. Decide which possible motivation is second-most important to you, and put that in the
second place. Continue in this way, ranking all the possible motivation from most to least
important to you.
3. Write two short paragraphs explaining why the first and second motivations on your list
are the most important ones to you.
4. Submit the assignment as Assignment 01.
