Question 1

The Central Nervous System (CNS) and the Peripheral Nervous System
(PNS) differ in structure and function.

The CNS consists of the brain and spinal cord. It is the control centre of
the body, responsible for receiving and processing information, making
decisions, and coordinating responses such as movement, thought,
memory, and emotions.

The PNS includes all nerves outside the brain and spinal cord. Its
function is to connect the CNS to the rest of the body by transmitting
sensory information from the body to the CNS and carrying motor
commands from the CNS to muscles and glands.

In summary, the CNS processes and controls information, while the PNS
serves as the communication network between the CNS and the rest of
the body.
