Assignment 3 feedback PYC4808 2019
In assignment 3 - we asked you to elaborate on (in the form of tables) how FOC, SOC
and African worldviews conceptualise the ideas of reality and health and pathology, as
well as the role and approach a therapist would take in therapy. This assignment builds on
from assignment 2. Assignment 2 was aimed at positioning each perspective
epistemologically. In assignment 3, the aim was to apply them according to certain
concepts - with the outcome that we can begin to become aware of how our (and other's)
thinking can influence how we see the world, relationships and contexts. Below is the
detailed feedback we expected you to include in your answers (all of which was
embedded in the on screen marking tools).
