A contract can be defined as a legally binding agreement made by two or more parties. It may be created by word of mouth (orally) or in form of writing to effectuate an obligation to the other party in exchange for consideration. A contract only becomes enforceable when four vital elements are present which include: offer, acceptance, intention to create legal relations, and consideration.
