Material 5 – Freer Practice Activity - Picture Card Game

Instructions:
1. Divide the class into 2 teams with each team containing 2 groups. Each group consists of 3
members.
2. Handout If-clause cards to team A group 1 and Result-card to team A group 2.
3. Handout If-clause cards to team B group 1 and Result-card to team B group 2.
4. Team A group 1 will work with group 2 to make first conditional sentences by matching the if-
clause card with the result-clause card.
5. The team that finishes first will win the game.
