Communication Tools and Techniques Used by my Team
Reflecting on our collaborative practice during the CLC Health organization evaluation
assignment, our team employed a mix of communication tools and techniques to facilitate
effective collaboration. Below is an overview.
Email: The email used for asynchronous communication, sharing updates, and distributing
relevant documents like power point draft among the team members.
Instant Messaging Apps: For quick, informal discussions, project progress, address any
challenges in real-time and brainstorming sessions through regular messing that was used on our
cell phones.
Shared Documents: We used GCU (Grand Canyon University) Group chat to organized tasks,
deadlines, and responsibilities using collaboratively editing documents on Google Drive enabled
us to work simultaneously and track changes (GCU, 2024).
The Strengths of our Group
Diverse Skill Sets: My team members came from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique insights
and expertise. Each member brought unique skills and perspectives to the table. Amazing!!!
Open and Effective Communication: We encouraged open and honest communication through
our different forms of communication channels. These helped in resolving, coordinating, and
making decisions towards the assigned projects.
Adaptability: We adjust our approach maturely when faced with obstacles.
Equal Participation: Members were active and almost participated equally, leading to an even
distribution of work (Langford et al., 2024).
