What is Elizabeth’s first impression of him? Why?
Darcy’s first impression is that he comes across as prond and arronagnt. The guest perceive him as
this unapproachable person. Elizabeths first impression of him is that he is arrogant and dismive,
because has bad manners.
2. Who is Charlotte Lucas? What comment does she make about Jane? What do you suppose is the
reason behind such a comment?
Charlotte Lucas is Elizabeth’s close friend.She commentsthat jane is too reserved and doesn’t show
her true feelings. I think that charlotte is thinking like that because jane seems to be very sweet and
quit which it difficult for others to understand her feelings.
3. At Sir William Lucas’s gathering, how does Darcy act around Elizabeth? At Netherfield, what are
theirconversations like?
At sir william Luca’s gathering, Darcy acts quit distant and shy around Elizabeth. At Netherfield,
their conversations are often filled with tension and awkward feeling they are forcing everthing .
