• Disease: is any harmful deviation from the normal structural or
functional state of an organism, generally associated with certain si
and symptoms.
• Pathology: is the study of disease which involves the determination
the cause(etiology), the understanding of its mechanism of
development(pathogenesis), the structural changes associated with
disease process (morphological changes), and the functional
consequences of those changes.
